Time is now.
Achieve your personal goals and make healthy lifestyle changes your strength - for the long-term, to create the life you deserve. And start with knowing that you already have what it takes!
1. Life is build on choices you make
You have to know that you create your life experience with every choice you make, both big and small, every day. In other words, your reality is a culmination of your
- Thoughts
- Words
- Intentions and
- Actions.
When I first started contemplating this idea, it made me feel defensive because my life was definetely not how I had imagined it would be. And, it was quite painful to acknowledge this. Yes, true. But thinking about it and after further consideration, I felt that this 'concept' (of adapting choices on a conscious level) was worth examining. And, although life isn’t fair, and some people are born into much better circumstances than others, how you live in the world (think, act, feel, relate to others) directly affects how the world responds back to you.And you should remember that, every day remind yourself.
Think of the quotes such as,
'Creating your own reality is the richest gift you received at birth.' by Deepak Chopra
or
'We become what we repeatedly do.” by Steven Covey
To me, it's all about vibrational control over things, over choices I make. With keeping this in mind, it sure help me make better decisions. And it did not happen over night. It is something you have to master and practice daily. And, at some point, I learned that when you understand that you have that 'vibrational control' of your experience, your life will change. And, his realisation led me on a quest to learn everything I could about the 'law of attraction'. And that being mentioned, refers to the Universal Law that states that you have the ability to attract what you focus on. Regardless of cultural and religious background or past experiences, we are all governed by this law. Therefore, whatever you send out to the Universe literally comes back to you and, in a sense, creates your personal reality.
Many, yet have difficulties to understand all this. But,
- Your thoughts are energy
- Your words are energy and
- Your actions are energy.
And, it is through this energy that you attract people, things, conditions, and experiences into your life. Believe me (when I say it), if you focus on negativity or have a gloom and doom outlook, you will remain under that low energy, ler let say a 'dark cloud' and attract more unhappiness.
On the other hand, when you focus on the good while working toward your goals, you will be inspired to take right action. This will create a chain reaction of positivity.
This is why the Universe (to me) is such a uniquely amazing place. The Law of Attraction states that whatever can be imagined and held in your mind’s eye can be achieved. Right?
2. My life after 40 was a mind - shifting game, on so many levels
- Be fearless
One thing that pops into my head instantly is to be fearless, regardless what life throws at you. Keep going fail, lift yourself up again - whatever it take. Just keep going, that all you got. If anything, you got that opportunity to be here, to live, to make it happen. It's about you.
- Stay motivated
- Every day. Just focus and find the reason. To me, staying motivated is key, so don’t stop there! Use the your daily practices as inspiration. And trust me, they’ll give you the support you need to keep moving forward when you lose steam. It's a mind f...ing game, but it's worth it.
- Positive affirmations
Make your positve affirmations specific to your goal. Treat them as statements of fact. Choose positive words and phrases only and always act as if what you want is already yours. You got nothing to loose.
- Visualise
Visualization is the bridge between where you are and where you want to be. It’s an effective way to rewire your brain and make permanent life changes! Yes, Right. And, you can do this by creating your own vision board. All you have to do is find photos, illustrations, quotes, and phrases that motivate you. Map them out on a poster board. Your laptop background, your phone photo, etc. Then, look at your vision board as often as possible. Remember, your inner world creates your reality. And the more you feel the emotions associated with achieving your goals, the better!
- Rewire and reset your brain
In order to make permanent life changes, you actually need to change your brain. And, this happens when you learn new things. So, ask yourself, what are the benefits of reaching your goal? By educating yourself, you can create new habits of mind. And to me, it's all about healthy habits.
- Never give up believing
Believing in yourself is the first step! Too often we don’t see things through to the end. This can chip away at your confidence and self-esteem.
I believe, if something speaks to my soul, I have to keep trying even when it’s hard as hell. And, expect to fail. But undertstand that failure is just another word for expansion. And, it’s very often the first step on the road to success!
All I can say is, know that you have the inner strength to do whatever you put your mind to. And, this is a perfect opportunity for self-care or to work on the things you’ve been avoiding.
To me, life is about moving forward and learning more about yourself along the way.
And, by accomplishing your goals, you will be a role model for so many others. I tend to inspire you.
What is your goal?
What is your purpose?
Until next time, S.
