There's really nothing better for your health than exercise, and that (without a doubt) applies to your sex life's health too ;) It is clear that men and women who are healthy tend to have better sexual function,' (don't you agree?).
Aerobic exercise is especially good at improving cardiovascular fitness, which stimulates blood flow throughout the body, including the genital area. Beside anything that supports the cardiovascular system is going to support a man or woman's sexual response.
"The healthier your blood flow, the better your arousal."
In women, blood flow is crucial, because it is the fundamental component that creates lubrication. So better blood flow helps with engorgement, sensation and lubrication in women as well as erections in men ;) good to know right? ;)
From my point of view, I believe every person should have at least 150 minutes of moderate to intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity each week. (so that means, you should put a bit of effort for about 5 times a week with quick 30 minutes of workout, sounds good? And trust me, If you cannot find that 30 - minutes a day, then you have not set your priorities in life yet!! Fact!
So what is an aerobic exercise? Simply, a brisk walking or light biking are two examples of moderate exercise, whilst vigorous movement would be jogging, fast cycling, etc. Make sure you choose the activity that brings your heart rate up. I love to perform HIIT workouts and/or mix my cardio exercises with exercises for strength.
(You should check out my favourite daily exercises for some motivation ;)). Just simply remember that higher levels of aerobic exercise may further improve sexual performance, stamina and desire in both, active men and women ;). So, in order to have an awesome orgasm as well arousal, you do need a good cardiovacular health (a good caridiovascular health means good blood vessels ;)).
The bottom line, when it comes to exercise, just do not over - complicate (unless you are training to show off ;)). And keep in mind that exercise has been shown to improve psychological sexual arousal in women and erectile dysfunction in men.
What is better than to feel great, feel fit, to care of your body's health and above all be at your best performance in the bedroom? Answer yourself ;)
Until next time, S.
