There is plenty of advice out there on how to obtain all you desire, like a healthier body, happier home, new job, a partner, a new house, etc. But the best advice I can give you is to love yourself! As you change your vibrational frequency through 'self love practices', the type of people and opportunities you attract into your experience will hold the new frequency. And the deeper you go into 'self love' you will find yourself naturally letting go of that which no longer serves your growth and your very own wellbeing. Loving yourself is a mind shift for many of us, so it was to me. We are so used to the inner critic constantly telling us where we are going wrong. And loving yourself requires ignoring that inner critic and introducing daily practices that gradually become life changing habits. The healthy habits we lost a while ago! And it it time to change that.
Today, I would like to share daily habits for self love and how they can affect your frequency. Sure they have changed mine ;).
1. Take a good care of your body
Choose to take care of your body in the same way as you would take care of your own child. Eat healthy, take plenty of rest, avoid toxic around you, hydrate your body, use as less body care products as possible and whenever possible, connect with Earth and nature again, etc. But most importantly pay attention to how you feel. Choose to be fully present with yourself. This way you can tune in to what your body needs right now, right here. Allowing only high vibration substances into your body will also keep your vibration high.
2. Exercise daily
Choosing to exercise daily is (to me) indeed an act of self love. Exercise helps me to keep my energy flowing and my body alive with oxygen rich blood which overall nourishes and repairs my body. I allow my emotions to flow. And what helps me a lot is to use journaling and tapping to witness and release my emotions. Remember, trapped emotions do lower vibration. And with daily exercise I ensure my energy and emotions continue to flow with ease. Allow yourself to try and be consistent.
3. Without an excuse, take time to yourself
Take it. Do not doubt it. Find the way! It could only be a walk, could be a weekend away with your husband, partner, friend. You just have to claim that 'space' when you need it. When you claim your 'space', you shall reclaim your energy too.
4. Embrace yourself
Your body is your temple. Embrace it. Look in the mirror and start loving yourself. Love the way you look, love the way you feel, love the way you dress, love the way you smell, love the inner you and the body image you see as a reflection in the mirror. It is you and you only. Impress yourself. Be you!
5. Set your boundaries
Have a positive boundaries. You know you can 'say no' without guilt right? Prioritise your wellbeing in any decision to help others. This will protect your energy. And remember, we are often depleted when we give away too much of ourselves. Choose wisely!
6. Follow happiness and joy
Simply follow, listen to your heart. Only engage in experiences that will bring you happiness and joy. Outsource any activities you do not enjoy and journal to change your perspective. Your thoughts have the power to open your heart centre and raise your vibration or close your heart centre and block the flow. Choosing happiness and joy must be a priority not a luxury. Remember that.
7. Forgive yourself
Yes, forgive yourself for any actions taken when you were less conscious and just did not know better. Shame is the lowest vibration there is and it really does not serve anyone. Just let it go.
8. Energy runs through you
Always remember that loving energy of the Universe runs through you! The presence of self doubt is a sure sign you have forgotten that you are'Love'. And the meditation, yoga practise, exercise, prayer -are the easiest way to remember that!
Love yourself. It is time. Now.
