Persimmon, my favourite fruit of the cold season

The persimmon, native to Japan, is high in natural sugars, so it provides a great energy boost before a workout. The body absorbs the sugar and converts it into energy during exercise. Because the tasty fruit is composed of about 80% water.


The persimmon also helps maintain hydration and replenish lost fluid when sweated. Containing healthy amounts of minerals like;

-potassium

-manganese

-copper and

-phosphorus


And trust me, the persimmon is excellent for improving endurance during exercise while also replenishing much-needed trace minerals lost when sweating ;)


what are you waiting? It is the season of persimmons ;).


My recipe:


- 2 ripe persimmons

- container thick plain yogurt or greek yogurt

- vanilla whey isloate (10-20g, depends of the thickness you wish to have)

- almond flakes (you can add a spoon of chia seeds there too

spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. (according to your taste)


Method:

Peel and quarter persimmon and add it to the mixer. Add yogurt and why to a blender. Drizzle some honey and add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend, and add more yogurt and/or whey to reach desired consistency.
